COOPERATIVE CHARTING
The Naples Sail and Power Squadron supports our national organization (USPS) in working with the U.S. Government in updating its charts through the Cooperative Charting Program. As part of this program, members call the attention of the national Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to features, such as changes in water depths or to landmarks or to confirm data accuracy.

SAFETY WEEK
In cooperation with the Coast Guard, its Auxiliary, and other organizations, the Squadron helps enhance public awareness of the need for following safe operating procedures in boating activity through the annual Safe Boating Week and other sponsored events throughout the year.

We also assist the Coast Guard in promoting boating safety by providing fire education and performing a courtesy examination of your boat – Vessel Safety Check.
